It's the same in the UK-opening a second account in a bank where I had had an account for years meant that they needed all the checks again and this was before money-laundering,

The cameras that flash twice are Gatso;Truvelo and two other makes of camera can be used and they only flash once and do not need markings on the road.

Insurance companies are not stupid;they would ask to see your tickets/credit card receipts etc;-remember that it would be you who wanted them to pay out.

The old road entering Millau from the South is also spectacular and well worth a drive;the new bridge has reduced the traffic on this route.It winds down a cliff face.

Phone line earthing

Telephone cables were earthed in the UK when there were shared lines;our house still has an earth wire but I doubt it is connected to anything-just left over from when we moved into the house. -

Having landed at Montpellier(and left the wife to collect the bags)I was glad I used Holiday Autos and was not collecting my car from Hertz.By the time we went out to the car park there was a queue of 30+ at their desk-allowing two minutes for each customer,that's over an hour!
