Thanks Sprogster I have asked on several occaisions but they say they cant do it (Abbey) I dont know why other places can and they are part of Santandare (Sp) internationsl banking [blink] I usually look for the best exchange rate and take the money to put in the bank when I am there, I /we try to put enough in so that it covers everthing until our next visit. hi do barclays not charge for this service? my bank charges £25 a time and I have to go in person to organise it!  This can be quite expensive!  Should i get a braclays account?  We have been taking as much money with each visit as we can to top up the bank account for our mortgage. Judith

Hi  all I have been trying to look for one for my lap top when i take it with me to france, the ideas was to not get an english one and pay the high roaming charges but et a french one hopefully a PAYG i did ask a while ago  http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1244451/ShowPost.aspx  If you have any luck finding a french payg internet dongle  please let me know where i can get one from. Well done caire yes i did try the adkins diet a few years ago and did begin to loose weight on it but it became cost prohibitive i didn't have any issue with it either..  However this year I have tried the Tesco GI diet and have so far lost 20lb and have enjoyed cooking the food and eating it, and not felt hungry at all and I have more energy than I had before. Ho thinks its not bad as well because he has lost a similar amount of weight and enjoys the food.   Judith

Hi all This is really interesting because the school i work at in England is introducing the IBAC next year as an option for our new 6th form.  It has already been said by some of thestaff who have been on the training that it will be a strugle for our less academically gifted pupils, and that the Btecs , NVQs and aprentice ships will cover those.  Does seem a good compromise?
