2. So many but one always springs to mind first The Real Thing by Faith No More. Every track a classic
3.
Hello & welcome Bunnybop. I couldn't agree more with your first post. BTW, I'm sure it's not too much of a problem to have a small e! [;-)] Real nice welcome Lee!
I was being sarcastic (i think!) as it was a new thread with my heading, it was in the early hours

5. All those views and no replies Probably because 'the best place to live' is impossible to answer Quillan in the Languedoc might be the place, about a hour from the coast and i'm sure I seen accommodation down there stating skiing was 30 mins. Quite a few of us brits down there as well. Plus only 3 hours to Barcelona.
6. Where the actual printing takes place may be different from the offices, the offices are probably buzzin due to the big story but the press hall and the others associated was (for me) mixed feelings of what had actually happened and the fact that it was an important job and needed to be done fast, it was a really strange atmosphere for us that night. 9/11 happened mid day and I wasn't in work, Lockerbie, I was 17 working nights again in a petrol station (done all the glam jobs me) there was many other days similar, can't think of one at the mo. Just to add on my last post, of the 100k or whatever, they may not have been despatched, they could have been on their way but as news changed they could well have been binned. I almost want to go back to work!
7. I doubt I would sell em anyway, £100 (WHAT!!) does nothing for me let alone enough for a pint, nice to know that at least some of the rubbish I have has some value That day was a sad day for a lot of people, roughly 3000 working overtime, a strange atmosphere that night. Russethouse - can't remember, probably anything upto 100k in our plant alone (Indy, Mirror and People), it was a really strange night, all presses stopped, silence for ages, word got round then the press plates got changed, presses started again, then stopped, carried on like this from 2am until mid afternoon next day.
8.
You are speculating , and hoping to make a quick  profit..................
Yeah, really quick, how long has it been now?
9.
Chez. Excuse me for asking, maybe I have missed something here.....what did you print? Anyway I am with the opinion of the nanaman....ebay.
I printed the papers (or part of the process), that's what i used to do before we came here, but I was on shift at the time we got word of the accident.
10. Hi We have a pool with a cover with bars accross, not sure of its rating but lets say it conforms to current regulations What I dont get is how can it be ok if you have a secured cover, what about when the cover is off?
11.

Hi Having a sort out whilst packing for moving house and we have a newspaper of the Diana accident with the headline Dodi dead Diana injured Do these have any value? Cheers Lee
That the remnants of a human life comes down to the phrase "Do these have any value"  is a sad reflection on the times we live in - do you have no shame/idea of what you are saying?
Explain why I should I was willing to do 6 hours unpaid overtime to print that after doing a 12 hour shift. Does that cancel out my shame? If i'd had the option prior to the crash - Diana has a crash and you get 6 hours overtime or she doesn't and you dont get any overtime. Hmm, a difficult one that!! The Diana concert, did anyone at all get paid? The Diana memorial fountain, did the builders so it for nothing? Does an animal die to feed your belly? Do you read newspapers? Do you use airplanes as a form of transport? I could go on. So, you would say no to a Dickens misprint? Also Paysages de France, I have yet to see a post of yours that isn't a moan
12. Thought as much Did unpaid overtime to print them an all, happy days [:-))]
13. Hi Having a sort out whilst packing for moving house and we have a newspaper of the Diana accident with the headline Dodi dead Diana injured Do these have any value? Cheers Lee
14. Hi John Retricted - is a little narrow, may widen it, just wanted something different with no drivvel. Sleeps 6 - gives a better idea as to the size I think Yours, no comment on the site but v pricey! You obviously must get bookings for high season. Lee
15. Flybe do Edinburgh to Bergerac, or they did.
16. Cheers Have altered the page a little but will add to it in the next few weeks to alter loading times for dial up users hence my reason for a brief and to the point web page. See Here
17.
I'm thinking of giving this a whirl http://www.gbsim.co.uk/index.html
I used a similar one a couple of years ago (united mobile, called riiing then) whilst travelling in the camper and it ended up costing a fortune, poor reception, getting cut off and having to redial. Lee
18. Hi I have just done a site for a property we are going to let out, kept it brief and on a single page wadaya reckon? See Here
19. Run of the mill site, looks ok, nicely laid out but Images could be better, accommodation images are too dark and small, also a lot of single word lines -  ......... bed and breakfast. place the b&b all on one line, many more within the other pages. Personally, I think the image on the main page should be of your best picture and the picture within the accommodation page of the landing doesn't do it for me, would be a good picture only for the toilet. Edited to add that I like the first pic on the accommodation page and i'd use this as your main image, very hotel like, pic needs brightening up though. Also the header is too big, anyone with a smaller monitor using 800x600 will have to scroll down to get a real look at what your offering. Good luck with your venture.
20. Best thing to do is if you cannot try the box elsewhere or try another at your place is to go and buy a router and try that.
21. A post was put on asking for accommodation in a particular area, I had done a website for a friend of a friend who lived around this area so doing my bit for both parties I replied - try www. blah blah .com these are in this area, it got removed for promoting my business! HELLO
22. Sorry, not read all posts but when we sold our first house here we was asked by the notaire if it was our only residence, yes, ok you will not pay tax, that was it, not have you filled a tax form in, it might be down to the notaires or other behind the scenes paperwork but thats our experience, she's a cracking notaire as well, delt with all our comings and goings in the northern Deux Sevres (prob cos she's from the north eh!), no fannying about, if anyone wants more info, email me That said, i know of someone who had 2 properties here, one was rented out, just sold it, didn't pay tax, I don't know why, you don't like to ask do you. So in other words, ask your notaire first! Personally, I don't see a problem paying taxes on profit.
23. Ditto to Martins last post, don't think there is much between them, the old black Pace boxes always seemed reliable. Same as anything, buy 2 identical new cars one will need something before the other. They don't cost the earth, buy a pace and a panasonic.
24. I don't know the property so don't know how busy the road is but that doesn't look like a main road, may be wrong. We used to live on a main road, not quite a RN road but nearly one, it wasn't so bad, it wasn't like the A1, far from it, it was set back a fair bit from the road tho. Compromise or you will never find anything.
