We have friends with a house near Limoux.  It takes less than an hour from Blagnac all on the autoroute of course, but once you get onto the smaller roads there are some fantastic villages in the country side. In fact I was there 2 weeks ago and the mountains looked wonderful.

I made a dibber at school and got 95% for it.  I think it had a dove tail joint. My Mum still has it.

Oh Shimble I am sorry for you.  I don't know the rights and wrongs of living in France, but I do know how much I love my cats.  In fact my children have one each on their lap and its lovely for them before they got to bed to have a cuddle with their pets. I hope you can reason with this farmer, if of course he is to blame.  Don't be too rash though, there may be another explanation. Good luck Dotty

Hoverfrog We have the same thing happening here.  I wasn't really sure what it was all about, but its my understanding that some kind of government inspector came to the primaire and decided there isn't enough kids to support all of the classes, so their planing to close one. All the parents put banners up and held placards, the mayor was there too and the press.  I ducked and covered.
