Blimey 2 months have vanished and i still haven't got round to it! Yep I had a look on the site a while back, but still getting a portfolio/pictures sorted. I need to clone myself, too much to do, too few hours in the day. What happens if you earn less than €6000? After finally deciding i'd never be warm/dry again and beginning to want a lovely heated office job, what a lovely warm and sunny few days we have just had, which look to continue until after the weekend! I even managed to 'glow' slightly working today! [8-|] Saw quite a lot of butterflies and heard a lots of buzzy critters! There's something about the first feeling of warm sunshine in the year that gets me all excited!! [:D] And the feeling that everything is gearing up to burst into life! First person to spot some cranes wins a prize! [:D]

Frenchie the 'bullies' only win if you let it get to you. It just feeds them. They may be able to make you feel rotten, but they can't take what is inside, your spirit. Remember that they are the weak ones, that's why they behave that way. As Twinkle said its usually down to jealously, you make them feel inferior so they try and put you down or exclude you. Good luck, stay strong and don't be afraid to stand up to them, try and identify/deal with the ringleader, the others normally only follow just so they aren't on the receiving end.

Not touched a drop! So feeling a bit pleased with myself! I did eventually go to see the doctor, who referred me to a specialist, so a bit of extra support has been good. Also my parents were inspired, after seeing me at Christmas, to cut right down, which they are still sticking to for now! Also lost a load of weight, down to a size 8, and feeling great! [:D] Good on you puzzled, keep on at it!

I think they are everywhere coops. I nearly always buy free range poultry/eggs over here. Works out a bargain when you find it reduced, then I buy all of it for the freezer! 24 free range chicken breasts for €14 the other day. If you think the chickens are bad you should see how they intensively rear veal! (we have a veal barn in our hamlet.[:(])

I don't think cling film would be strong enough?? How would you water it? And also may make plants rot? I'd make a ring from chicken wire, possibly with a ring of wire for stability and hanging, and line with moss type stuff and fill with compost, then give it a good spraying to water it. Although it may need watering quite often, possibly a couple of times a day in the heat of summer? Otherwise maybe a dried flower wreath, if it is a sheltered doorway? Nice idea though!

Himselfs brother had a problem with rats eating his supply of chicken feed. He set up an old oil drum with a bit of grain in the bottom, and placed it so the rats could jump into it. (and obviously they then couldn't get out.) I think he got 20+ in just one evening.  I'll spare the details of how he 'disposed' of them. [+o(] Mog caught a hooge rat the other day! Having cats around we don't have much of a rodent problem.

I tried runner beans (Butler) the first year here, without much success. I think they don't like the heat. Last year i grew pole beans 'Neckarkonigin'. Which were very productive, stringless, tasted good and froze well.
