1. My old Border Collie, Jess (sadly no longer with us) loved the telly.  She particularly liked any programme with animals.  Trouble was, if we weren't looking, she would press her cold wet nose against the screen to get a closer look.  Not good from a safety point of view and I was forever cleaning the smudges off !!  We also looked after another dog for a couple of months that would howl the minute the theme tune from Eastenders came on - she was never interested enough to watch it though  [:D]
2. Ummmmm...... Yes Megsie, 7.29am is a tad late to be tootling off to bed !    Bed by midnight tonight young lady or you'll turn into a pumpkin !!  Ummmm, don't think I'm remembering that story quite right [8-)]   [:D][:D][:D]

4. Babysat my grandchildren so my daughter could go out with friends !  But they were in bed and asleep by 8pm [:(]  E mailed some favourite people to wish them a happy new year.  Was tucked up myself by 11pm and never saw 2007 in.  Now I know I'm getting old !! [:-))]
5. [:P][:P]  I'll second that !  In the same nicest possible way Peter ! [:D]
6. In the middle of a terrific (?) thunderstorm here in Devon.  Quite a bit of debris on the roads after yesterdays gales too.  How I long for frost and blue skies !![:(]

9. Hi Everyone ! Thought it would be nice for people to show photographs of the best times they had in 2006.  Here's mine. This is my new Granddaughter, now 9 weeks old - the highlight of my year !
10. You can only be a Dirty Tom for so long before the back goes.....................................  by Pads I can say with good authority (having met you in person) that you are far more like a Pads than a Dirty Tom !  The Pads is much gentler ! [:D] Yes, thank you I had a brilliant Christmas - not sure about New Year [:(] working I'm afraid.

I give up .....

Hi Afy.  I agree with Meg in that you seem to have come to a decision but need reassurance that it is the right thing to do.  Only you know how bad you feel and the decision is yours.  If you can't see the situation improving and neither of you can work towards making an improvement, then what is the point in the relationship? Whatever you decide Afy you have the support of forum members (friends).  Make sure you have somewhere to go before, and if ,you move out, and that you take some money !
12.               Just great !
13. Just beautiful everyone !  Keep them coming !  How I long for a blue sky instead of these grey clouds - would rather have the cold than the rain !! [:(]
14. Jay Jay and Suze, they both look beautiful spots.  Why are these gems always tucked away, high up ??  On my first trip to the Pyrenees this year I was overawed by the beauty of the mountains but scared to death of the hairpin bends.  [+o(]  It wouldn't stop me from doing it again though, it was worth it !! [:D]
15. That's a very pretty photo Pip. By Christine Thanks Christine.  The place is called Cockington and holds lovely memories for me.  I used to take my old Border Collie, Jess, for walks through the estate when she was alive. Suze, that's an amazing view.  Intrigued to know what all those little white blobs are in the left hand foreground !
16. I love this new section so much !  Even as a small child I would love getting the family photo albums out and would spend hours looking at the snaps.  Now I can have happy times looking at all of yours !  It has even inspired me to take my camera with me.  I hope I will improve but here's one I took this afternoon at a touristy place.
17. For heaven's sake I'm always late for a party !  Just picked myself up from under the table - don't know how long I'd been there !! [8-)] Jay - keep off the Bailey's dear ! Megsie - Where's my present then ??????????? Hope everyone had a stupendous Christmas day - I had a brilliant one [:D]

19. Hi SD and a Merry Christmas.  My OH has had five Bmw's, his last one R1150RT which he loved.  Sadly it got a little heavy for him and he worried when on a bad camber. One of his bike buddies has a Pan European and he would love one of these ! Here are both bikes in the Massif Centrale, April this year.  Brrrrr !   Hope you get the bike of your dreams !

21. Spending my first Christmas day off in four years at home in Devon.  We have fourteen (including my three grandchildren) people for Christmas lunch [:'(]  It's been a while since we've all been under the same roof at the same time so I'm really excited.  Back to work boxing day - if I survive [:-))]
22. Hi DT ! It's just outside a village called Labretonie SE of Marmande.  We had a wonderful time, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by all the sunflowers and no traffic  - Bliss [:D]
