Trying to find Humphrey Littletons 'Bad penny Blues' a hit for his band in the 50's. Its the tune that the Beetles nicked in the 60's and put out as Lady Madonna. Anything good on Telly tonight.                      

I dont know who wrote it but the singer is Minnie Riperton. She had a 5 octal range and sadly died of Breast cancer in 1979. She was only 31. When she hits that high note in the song Kays cocker spaniel Bill used howl his head off.
