  1. Hello there, We are in the north of the creuse near La Celle Dunoise and I would love to be able to hear from you. My husband works in Paris, so would be glad to be able to meet up with some people. Hope all goes well for you, and that you love the area. SJ
  2. Hi Di, Glad to see I am not the only one plagues by these pesks... think I have the whole of watership down living with me. They are even getting bold enough not to completely scarper when I come out! Have lost countless veggies and plants to them, but I can say that they do not like courgettes, hence I normally have a glut of them!! If you ever find a really good solution to the problem, that does not involve a hunting permit, I'd love to hear of any. SJ
  3. Hi, Just wanted to say I'm an avid Citroen fan, well more 2CV's!! Live in the Creuse and would like to hear more from the madcaps. SJ
  4. Hi, We are just above the N145 - 10 mins from St Vaury. Le Grand Bourg is a very nice area. and I wish you all the best there. Drop me a line if you are ever the other side of the RN145. SJ
  5. Think you'll end up with the best of both worlds - a nature lovers paradise and the gathering of the clans. The choice will be yours. Can't say I have met any other Brits where I am, but a few Dutch folk. Great place all the same, reminds me of being a kid in Devon. Hope you love it as much SJ
  6. Hi Bob, We are in the north of the Creuse, near La Celle Dunoise... would be nice to hear from anyone in the area too. Hope your move comes sooner rather than later. Rgds SJ
  7. LAST EDITED ON 10-Jul-03 AT 09:35 AM (GMT) Hi, Can anyone help with suggestions ideas of where I can find employment in Paris. Am looking in the 15/7/16 arrondissements, but will consider all Paris and possibly dept. 92. Currently work in the space industry involving operating ground stations, networks and countless administration tasks. My French is very good both written and spoken, and already am in Paris (well husband is, I spend most of my time in Germany at EESOC), so no need for relocation. Any helpful advice / pointers greatfully received. Thanks for reading SJ
  8. Am looking for an appartment to rent in the 15th - 2/3 rooms unfurnished. Does anyone know of one, free mid-August onwards? Thanks
