1. Now I'm listening to the Talking Heads album, Naked and appropriately given the album title, the track Totally Nude.
2. Pictures Of You by The Cure. I'm sure it must be on youtube or the internet somewhere but I think I need a wizz to find it.
3. A 1960's British blues track from Savoy Brown, She's Got A Ring Through His Nose......No youtube again I'm afraid.
4. A great if lesser known soul singer, James Carr and Dark End Of The Street. No youtube again, I'm afraid.
5. The Fratellis and Creepin' Up The Backstairs. One of the many good tunes on their cd, Costello Music.
6. Still no youtube, but listening to Frank Zappa and Call Any Vegetable from the Absolutely Free album
7. Now onto an album by Emerson Lake and Palmer and Pictures At An Exhibition. I suppose now that most pictures get a first airing on the net. Somewhere like MySpace or Facebook
8. Can't see this on youtube, much too early, but I'm playing a 40's jazz classic and Big Fat Mama's by Bull Moose Jackson.

15.
I thought that ADSL was Haut Debit and I thought that that was broadband.
Sorry, I always thought that ADSL was the term for plain old 56K dial up.
16.
What sort of connection have you got Rob ?
Gay, Just ADSL, not broadband, through AOL. Mine works just fine and dandy (touch wood) at present. I've been able to see everything I should and it loads at a reasonable speed. i.e no slower than TF.   Rob
17. Can I say that I actually prefer the forum now. I have no problems with access, speed is ok and I prefer the layout to the old one as you can just go to the later posts direct by page rather than having to trawl through the entire thread to find which ones have been added.  I think you might just need to let the new site bed in and you yourselves, get accustomed to the new format. I do find using 'quotes' is not there just yet, but is probably something they can fix.
18. I have a colleague at work, who in the past has vowed never to sell her property because it backs onto a little copse which she claimed she had no desire to see developed on. About a month back she and her immediate neighbours were offered about £100k over the value of her property to sell to property developers and lo and behold, they're now only trees. As they say money talks. To be honest most people in that situation will do the same, even your neighbours Rob, if they had the chance.
19. I have Windows xp and AVG and I've had no problems whatsoever.
20. It seems as though the Rebels started firing on a group of children and Russian special forces steamed in without a prepared plan.
21. No Swiss posts on both sites, but infrequently. I think renovating a property is taking his time.
22. Dick, Have you been at the Greecian 2000??
23.
I think this is the team that won played in the final isn't it, so fair enough, but wasn't Greaves in the squad, played loads of games, then replaced by Hurst in the final due to injury? I hope someo...
I think he was dropped after the group games, rather than injured. Miki, do you think Jimmy would have been quite so good in the modern game? I only saw him a few times in the 60's, as the Villa were in lower divisions than Spurs at that time. I don't recall him being particularly quick or over skillful, but as having a predatory goalscorers touch in the box. Who would you liken him to today?
24.
I might, from a red and white perspective, mention Brian Clough... (though he does have an OBE). Murray Walker has an OBE but George Cohen doesn't. There seems to be very little rhyme or reason, other...
Dick, Is it only George Cohen from the '66 World Cup winning team or are there more who haven't been given a honour? Considering the rush to give the rugby players gongs after their (more limited) success, I think it is about time the record was put straight.
