"I am an extremely competent shot and will not shoot the body but only go for head shots to make sure I get the kill." But of course I have a fishing lake and I dont intend to kill the birds even though anyone can read what have been putting on here. I know it is getting boring this thread and I do try to stay away from it because I know It will get two or three replys from the "bird killers" just one last thought does the mayor who you buying the lake from know what you are going to do to the local bird population

It nearly always happens, the last in is also last in the "pecking order" and is picked on by the others it can happen even when the last bird is physically bigger than the others the best thing to do if there is no blood fights is to leave them to it they will settle . The bird should be with the others when they sleep introduce it when they are asleep when they are most docile and they will get used to her quicker and dont worry about the coq he will sort them out, no problems as he grows quicker than they do and soon assumes total leadership of "his" flock. Our last in is called Hilda and she was picked on by birds a lot younger than her she is still the meekest bird until it comes to feeding time when she turns into a monster she will jump across three of their backs to pull the treat out of her main protagonists beak and run off the food amazing to watch If I throw five baby tomatoes towards them she will get three or four before you can blink

Everyone is different and everyone has different thoughts on things myself I think there are enough rules here without more. But looking it from the magazines perspective why should they loose revenue? I dont think they will entertain it and why should they as they are in the market to make money and whilst this forum is a nice service I should not think it will earn them much revenue

Ty Korrigan I dont blame you one bit everyone has a choice if they answer an advert with or without a number. but some people on these forums want try to control the way everyone does things .We all know the pitfalls of siret numbers so why do they keep harping on about it The system here is very hard for small businesses and how would you know whether or not a business is going to get a big enough customer base to meet all the strict financial burdens that apply is this country I would think that most builders (they will never admit it on here) start on the black and when they get their siret numbers eventually, they become the biggest vocal condemers of those without siret numbers

Our drains are next to our gate but not connected as yet the last owners did not bother. The drain is nice and clean being new and only serves us with a branch going down to the main sewers. I have dug a channell through the solid rock to the drain and wondered if I could connect it myself it looks easy enough and I dont fancy paying someone lots of money to stick a pipe in a hole in the side of the drain I dont suppose anyone has done this ,if so how did you go on? cheers

I have ordered 100 m27 malling rootstocks in the UK for spring cost one pound each I could not find any decent dwarfing rootstock here in France. but I know they use it if anyone knows of any within 3 euros I would be happy to use some .Most of the french rootstock originates from malling in the UK. I intend to espallier them with some nice different old french stock grafted on the year after

We had the same problem The little triangle at the bottom left of the screen would not go dark green with ours it turned out to be the connection into the box we had to change the cable but the connections are more robust than the avarage so I had to find a cable with more solid ends on that do not wobble in the box. It has been perfect since
