  2. Hi everyone, we've bought our dream property and now we are trying to decide when the time is right to make the final connection. We are just about to turn 50, we still have our uk property but a lot of questions still stir that insecure feeling. Please, how many of you are entirely happy with your decision, or those of you which are unhappy and now cannot return due to the uk housing prices. We are looking forward to moving and really do not want to leave it until we are 60+. Many thanks to all your replies. Graone.

  7. Hi everyone We have just bought a property in Brittany. The property has 6 acres of agricultural land of which is of no use to us bar from keeping privacy to the home. We have allowed a local farmer to graze his cattle on the land to maintain keeping the grass down. He has asked if he can plant crops in the fields next year. Can anyone advise if this type of usage of my property entitles the farmer to claim the land for himself. Thanks Graham.
  8. Hi We are just about to sign the final purchase of our dream home. The property next door is for sale and travelers are trying to purchase the land on which they intend to put caravans on it. The seller of the property has agreed to sell the land to myself upward of price. Should we obtain the land what if the travelers decide to settle on the land or part of our land and state squatters rights. Please advise.

  15. Hi we are presently looking for a property in Brittany and are interested in one that also has a chicken building, this is rented out to persons at the moment and we would inherit the rental from them for this building. Has anyone any knowledge of chicken breeding buildings, the positives as well as the negatives and any pit falls as to the rental and tax implications as well as liability issues. Any information on this subject is very muched welcomed. Thank you Graham
