Hi i am thinking buying a second hand "Rayburn" wood burning cooker. It will be used as a room heater as well as a cooker. I will be fitting it myself. Can anyone advise me on whether the tax reimbursement would still apply and if so how much. Also would it matter if the cooker was bought in th UK as long as the Facture was in French. Thanks nich

Hi. We have been with HL for well over a year. They have got us most of our booking. I can only say we have found they very professional. People sometime enquire about several properties and don't have the cautiously to reply. -
Picking up at Limoges airport
Nichthewood replied to Ford Anglia's topic in Travelling to/from France
I used Limoges on Saturday. As already said it is very easy to park , BUT only at the moment. I think the car park is closed next weekend. It worth checking. They are changing over to pay and display. Once again people who leave there cars at airports for months have ruined it for us all. Now we will all have to pay. -

I take it by a "lift thingy" you mean a pole that holds the board on the ceiling while you nail it. I away use a piece of floorboard in the shape of a "tee" , Make the prop 1" higher than the ceiling. You can lift up the board and trap it in place with the prop. If you make the "tee" piece about 2ft long it works fine.

Water restrictions
Nichthewood replied to Nichthewood's topic in West (Bretagne, Pays de la Loire, Poitou-Charente)
We have a sunken water tank the size of a garage. I fitted an electric pump and it now delivers enough hose pipe presure to get round are whole grounds. I take it that if spotted by air this would NOT be ilegal. -
hi Can anyone in the poitiers area (86) tell us if there is any watering restrictions in force.

I don't understand. Same in France as the UK. IF YOU DONT SPEED YOU WON'T GET FINED. How can you complain, if you break the law in ant way, don't moan about the punishment
