We use BJORG Tofu Nature -a very firm tofu compared to UK version. Avaliable from dietetique aisle in most supermarkets such as SuperU, LeClerc and Auchan. Also we buy from the fridge sections of supermarkets a packet of two burger-like soya steaks called SojaSun "Steaks du Soja!.  These are usually in the area of meats in fridge - alongside pre-packed ham, etc. Mike

We had a very small budget so had  to look hard over  2/3 years for a holiday home.  We visited numerous properties of all shapes, style, condition and regions.  With limited building skills, we had little choice in  meeting any specified "appeal" but eventually, after some keen negotiation, struck lucky and purchased a lovely habitable house with an attached stone property needing minimal renovation in which we are developing our skills and this is coming along nicely. In our case it was not a case of what pre-concieved sort of property we would like but more a case of what was available and acceptable.  Our criteria was to buy a holiday home in France and learn to integrate.  Good luck with your househunting.

My wife and I used the same method and materials as raindog, but with a three-in-one mix and used an old uk triangular headed paint scraper to rake out between tight stones. Hard work but really worth the effort. Mike

Just received my passport back ok, I had my photos done in a digital photo booth in a local supermarket.  Perhaps the anti-reflective coating on my specs helped or maybe it was the newer technology?

Early 1960s with no experience, test riding an old 98cc Excelsior, no licence off road  in  local Graveyard; confused over controls and hit nearest Headstone. Not best memory, only one.  Took to four wheels shortly after!.

Is that the correct spelling?,  McULLOCH  make chain saws and my model is very positive/a tad tight when the chain brake is applied, but I agree with Andy that if any case you are concerned ,you  should check it out, these saws can't be messed with. Mike
