1. Routers are that cheap anyway, I really don't think it's worth the time considering. Personally, I wouldn't bring anything electrical from the States to France, it's a waste of money in shipping, and then you have the voltage issues on top. When I moved from France to the States last December, I brought nothing with me that needed plugging in.
2. It's ok, because all the virgins he's gone to are very well hung males.
3. How do you provide proof? A picture? Well that's easy to photoshop as has already been seen. I think the right decision has been made. Where I think the US is in error is the changing of the story of how he was taken out. I can also understand why they went in without Pakistan's approval and I dare say it was a last resort decision.
4. Agree completely with coops here. The most successful businessmen know what to delegate and how to do so in order to get the best results. Their ethic would be along the lines of work smarter, not harder. Going back to that original site, I have my property up for sale and am looking at ways to market it better. That site will not be getting my business.
5.

I'm doing a course in web design next semester and one of the assignments is to find three sites with good design and three with bad design.
CdeL - have you moved seamlessly from Australian English to American English ? John
Australia uses semester too. It's just two academic periods within one year. What do the English use for this?
6.

I challenge you to write the same in French to a commercial standard.
I couldn't.  However, if I were serious about my business appealing to an English speaking market then I would invest a bit of cash getting a competent English speaker to check it over for me.  Professionally presented advertising, promotion and marketing gives the impression - true or not - that the business itself is similarly professionally run, so to my mind it would be worth a bit extra to get the basics right.
Agreed, this is a business that is based on communication, trying to sell or exchange properties, the written word is extremely important. I've been to many restaurants too where the English is poor, but it's not as essential for it to be 100% accurate. With a web based business, you have to remember that that site will have to be marketed as well in order to appear in search engines and get ranked highly, otherwise it will never get seen. Google is very intelligent when it comes to reading websites and it will not pick this one up and deliver favourable results for it. It is therefore essential for the search engines as well as clients for it to be written in good English.
7. You see, I don't think it is run by non English speakers. I think if it were, there would be two versions, the native language of the people and English.
8. If you are shown two businesses offering the same product for the same price, and one presents itself professionally and in excellent English while the other is extremely poor and unprofessional, which one would you choose?
9. I'm doing a course in web design next semester and one of the assignments is to find three sites with good design and three with bad design. This most certainly fits the bad design criteria. Poor presentation, boring design, unprofessional looking and of course, above all, poor communication skills. I hope for their sakes, it is purely a draft, because they won't make any money from it otherwise.
10. Q, if Trump or Palin are his opponents for the next election, then I don't think he would have any problems in getting in.
11. It's better he is dead. Otherwise an expensive and pointless trial would have ensued and he would have been executed anyway. Wiping the bastard out saves a lot of agro, not to mention the other idiots taking hostages and demanding his release and so on. Sure there will be repercussions from his death, but I think him being dead is the better option.
12. I hope the 74 virgins he has gone to are all male.
13. Couldn't stand Blair, but he had a brain on him. He certainly knew when to quit!
14. Are they divorced yet, or has Philip murdered Kate?
15. Sarkozy in Eurofighter swap for poppadom shocker!
16. Who cares where he was born? As long as he is doing the best he can for his country, then surely that's all that matters? I don't think he will be re-elected though. He seems to be a talker rather than a doer. Australia has a pm who is Welsh. She is as Australian as I am. But the most important thing of all is, Donald Trump. All that money and he still has that haircut!
17. I'm constantly seeing out of stock signs for the ipad in Walmart. They get some in, and then within a day, they've gone. I'm going to Delaware to buy mine when I get it. Tax free :)
18. Have you tried New Jersey women? I shall not blog until autumn now :) Finals next week and then off for the summer! Woohoo!!!
19. Ann is very ugly. I think she was robbed. Nigella all the way.
20. Because they are old and senile and don't know what they're thinking would be my guess ;) But the politicians who are voted in are just like that anyway, so it's horses for courses...
21. Sorry, I should have stipulated that you would still have to be a citizen. I haven't lived in the UK for 12 years, I have no assets or money or other interests there, so I believe I should lose my voting entitlement. Until I return that is. If I had interests there (especially if still paying tax there), then I believe I should continue to have the right to vote.
22. I think if you have money or assets in the country or pay tax there, you should be able to vote. If there is nothing of you in the country, then it should be taken from you until such time you reside back in there. Basically, if you have interest there, you should be allowed to vote.
23. I used to be a hoarder, but 3 country moves later and clutter free is the way to go for me. My basic rule is this: If it hasn't been used within the past year, it goes. Of course I can be flexible with this rule depending on the item, but as I have very little in the way of possessions now, it's an easy rule to keep.
