  1. Have a look at CompuServe. You can dial up anywhere in the world at local tariffs. I don't know about broadband, though. Regards, Adriana.
  2. >Any established gite complex managers may >get a laugh at our >website. > >http://www.leboisdelamotte.com > >We update it every month with >our progress (or not as >the case may be!) >Phil and James It may sound blunt, but I have read your messages for a while now, and looked at your website. Nothing new, in either of them. Just plain advertising, which I though the LF admin....?
  3. >today it runs out and >i have to renew it. >But you have to pay >to renew it,is that normal? Yes, that is normal. >Also is there any other >anti virus stuff just as >good as Norton but for >free? You can try AVG from http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php. It is free. Some test show it to be very good, others say it fails in detecting a certain type of virus. Nothing is perfect, though. I have been using it for a couple of years now and am quite happy with it. I do not like Norton because it interferes with some other software I use daily, but others think it is great. Regards, Adriana.
  4. It is not difficult, but you need confidence and good instructions. From the way you phrase your question I would think: let the doctor do it. It should not be too expensive and he has the tools to save the data of the old disk and tranfer them onto the new one. You don't mention your OS but I guess you work with Windows. If so, remember Windows XP allows only five changes in the hardware of your pc before it wants to be re-actviated. No such complications with earlier versions of Windows. Good luck, Adriana.
  5. >if >i could drive this wouldnt >be a problem as we >could just put my husband >as second named driver...but i >can't any ideas? >Lou You'd have to pay for the extra driver, though. (At least with the companies we have hired from) Adriana.
  6. >Its about 2,500 words. At 3 eurocents a word (Internet market >rates) the pay's not brilliant... It isn't. Can I ask what Internet Market rates you are talking about? Regards, Adriana.
  7. I never understood why people posted here they had sent a message to someone's inbox, b ut now that I have done it, I understand: inboxes do not get checked very often, I suppose (an the little flag does not help very much). So, BJSLIV, I send you a message asking for the communiqu from the French Minisitre regards pool safety. Can you have a look in your inbox please? Thank you, Adriana.
  8. >So I hope this casts a bit more light into this murky area. It does indeed. Thank you very much for sorting this out once and for all. (Ministre de...et de la Mer! Will they be fencing that off? Regards, Adriana.

Can anyone confirm that? Can an alarm only be used as a complementary device? I thought one had the choice of four possibles: hard cover, fence, alarm or abris. I get a lot of conflicting advice, and very high quotes! Regards, Adriana. PS: the subject of pool safety laws is discussed in three or four different categories on this forum. I picked 'Gite owners' because the issue is more urgent for owners letting their property, but 'Legal' seems good to. Any suggestions of how to discuss the subject effectively?
