Thank you. A wonderful programme full of favorites of mine (I accompanied Anakreons Grab in the last recital before my stroke) and a very fine voice.

Rameau is Composer of the week on Radio3
-
Apart from Alagna who reminds me more of the bull stuck by a matador than of Don José...
-
Lovely and completely unknown to me

Here is a recording of Ruhe sanft by one of my favourite sopranos (far superior to Schwarzkopf in my opinon) with good old Harry Blech who I saw several times in London in my youthAnd the two ladies together
-
I have watched part and downloaded the rest for later.BUT the conductor murders the first two with tempi that are far too brisk.....Deveilhe stands out head and shoulders above the others for me, but that is my faiblesse qui parle

This is appropriate for you I think

And a nice trailer clip of her
-
I love her in this too, but am also extremely impressed by the orchestra which has a lovely fresh sound that is perfect with her voice. They are all so young too...If one is old when Policemen start to look young what does it mean when orchestral musicians start to look like teenagers?

You are of course quite right that he is a fantastic pianist, but after that something rather lighter in a blast from the past:
-
He was certainly a composer I imagine it must have been difficult to live with, but then who would want to be Mrs. Bach with all those children, or Mrs Mozart?Somehow I imagine Mrs Haydn probably had an easier life although there has recently been speculation as to who she was:Marital Harmony:Although some think that they weren't compatible..

the Opus 110 I used to play...ish [:)] and I still have a bit of the Opus 109 in my muscular memory ( I know he didn't play that one)I always find Opus 111 a bit of a 'head banger'

I meant 'connect' in the purely technical Internet sense...the page won't open for me ...[:D]but here it does....
-
I can't connect to that I'm afraid..
-

From Sue's link it seems that the old paper cards are being replaced with new plastic ones with a photo on them, rather like the Carte Vitale; and the name is changing: Depuis le 1er janvier 2017, la carte mobilité inclusion (CMI) remplace les cartes de priorité, stationnement et invalidité.These cards are supposed to stop fraudI think you still apply to the MDPH for the new card
