1. I have great trouble even buying ..but selling that quickly is amazing [:D]
2. I followed what you were saying :) It's just that I doubt that the two apps are compatible..
3. There seems some confusion about the OP. The link I gave as  information for those who may wish to use it is to the French  government's smartphone application. Of course there may be a UK equivalent, but this one is for those of us living in France. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/france-e2-80-99s-stopcovid-tracing-app-available-as-country-reopens/ar-BB14Uvjp
4. Or the same market? Taken last week
5. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.gouv.android.stopcovid&hl=fr Probably of most use to those of us who live in densely populated urban areas.
6. I think that parts of the Ariège can  equal those two. I worked for several years in  the Lozère, and had a flat in the Ariège......On the other hand the most gloomy part of France I have visited is the Haute Loire (43)
7. I had the 'tartare de fraise' ...it sounds a little weird, but the mixture with red peppers and basil works really well and I have had it there previously It is  quite modern style place for this region and always offers vegetarion choices, which I tend to choose because she does them really well. The Aubergine mossaka and the lemon tartellette... BUT I had the main course at lunch time, and the starter and pudding in the evening... Another nice one is the Buddha bowl with crudités and pulses such as quinoa
8. Here is an example of the menu for take-away (or in my case delivery) of a local one   from which I had a 2/3 meals  a week during the 'confinement' Each course in its own plastic box bread in aluminium and  home-made mayo and an oil and vinegar dressing in little pots
9. I was quite poorly in February with some of the symptoms, so I rather hoped I had had a mild version and might have some protection, but it was not to be You are right about the test, but France seems more confident about them than the UK. Why I have no idea..
10. My result came back as negative, so I haven't got any antibodies against Covid19.
11. I  will be sitting outside in solitary splendour having a fish dish (I don't know which yet) at  my regular haunt. Fresh grilled fish hasn't been on the menu at the "traiteur" from whom I  have been getting most of my meals
12. Yes Nick there is a serious shortage in rural areas, and even here in town two practices have had  to amalgamate to have enough Doctors. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-health-idUSKCN1NJ0HX
13. I have a delivery today of a second-hand computer, but it came for the UK
14. Which is why I had the test.... I posted to inform those who might be interested of the availability of these tests, not  to recommend them.. On prescriptions again, speaking generally,  I think that people have the impression  that they are needed to give permission for a blood test,  whereas I believe that any of us can  go and ask for a specific test ( for anaemia  for example) but have to pay for it. The prescription by the MT is so that the test will be re-imbursed
15. Lori as far as having a prescription is concerned I had mine without one and so did a friend who has a restaurant. I was there when he had it, collecting a take away:) A prescription MAY be needed to have it reimbursed but not simply to have it done.
16. In view of this report I should explain that the  blood test  I am taking abour is not a 'finger-prick' type, it is the sort where the nurse or technician draw blood from a vein.. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/27/english-retailers-told-halt-coronavirus-home-antibody-test-deliveries
17. I had mine this morning and am waiting for the results. If you live in France you can have one done without prescription but  you have to pay.Mine cost 15€ as I was also having another  test done at the same time, but it may be a bit more of you have it as a single test. I just went to the  Lab as usual and asked for it.
