Besides, builders' services today are very expensive. This summer, my wife and I decided to renovate our barbecue area. My wife wanted to hire a special crew, but I did it myself. I installed concrete columns all around the perimeter, and between them, I installed special panels that I bought from a UK company. Thanks to the panels, the barbecue area looks beautiful.

All very nice, but they don't ship to France, and if they did, the delivery charge would be horrendous.

  2. Oh I do agree about the mossies Lori, we were absolutely plagued by them, despite checking every possible place they could be multiplying in.  Tiny little beggars, but bitey ones, it was impossible to sit outside without getting bitten. We had 3 tubes of Apaisyl scatted around at all times, plus one of those clicky things.

They seem to have all gone now though, bliss!

So, here is my starter for ten: Just why, when someone doesn't like what is posted, instead of coming back with an argument or suggestion, as you have, prefer to post an insult? My view is that such a person isn't a particularly nice person  and has a rather limited ability to join in a constructive discussion. Such a person feels comfortable , often, with like minded people and in particular their 'behaviour' is quite 'territorial' insofar as  they have been here for a long time and resent 'newbies' as well as thinking others support their insults! Now that is my starter for ten, quite the psychiatrist!!! So, why do you think someone easily resorts to insults? A reply isn't obligatory by the way but you did ask!

Is "pot" and "kettle" an insult?

  4. What I did to achieve this.

Paused AdBlock, Adblock Plus, Blur for this site.

Using Google Chrome, I clicked on the three dots at the top RHS of the Google window to expand the list, then clicked on more tools, developer tools.  That opens a panel to the RHS of your screen.

Then went to "Application"  at the top of the panel (you may need to click on the two little right arrow sign to get to it).

I ticked the "including third-party cookies" and clicked on "Clear Site Data", then went down to unclick "Cache storage".

I opened a new Google window (or close Google and re-open), went to the forum, signed in again and, without closing the dev tools window on the RHS, started a new topic.

It sounds more complicated than it is, but I hope this helps.
