It is noted as glucides on packs (in the same way that carbs are) in the nutritional info. So, as a diabetic, it is that info that you will need. However, in France I am not sure that you could much use the word in a restaurant, for example.

Using the steamer, 9-10 mins, then butter, rock salt and shavings of (good quality) Parmesan. Bread to mop up.
Wot, no freshly ground pepper (gasp) ?

I bought my first bunch today, will be having it with our lunch tomorrow. They can keep their white ones, I'm a sucker for those delicate green heads, the soup I make with the cooking water and the rest, even the smelly pee afterwards. Spring has sprung.

Thank you. I appreciate your answers. I already have a letter from my Dr. stating that I need it, so I'll bring it in its powdered form, clearly labeled. Over years of experimentation, I've learned that it's the only thing I can take before bed that keeps me from have extreme lows overnight without starting the night on an extreme high. Sigh. My carryon is getting heavier by the minute! lol.
I sympathise. I'm guessing, over your years of experimenting, that you have tried reducing, or splitting your lantus?

Apparently it's a meal substitute, not a medication as such, although it is aimed at diabetics. I've searched, but it doesn't seem to be available in France.

Yes, I hadn't fully understood, until the news reports this morning, what all the fuss was about. But they are protesting that the water to fill the basins will be drawn from the water table, taking water that, in theory, belongs to everyone. The water will then be the property of the farmers. And, as Dave points out, evaporation will be an important issue too. I've nothing against the genuine protesters camped out at the site, but trouble has already started this morning with the black blocs, who arrived this morning, using explosives.

Is in not just someone who has copied your name and cat photo? Should it not be the policy of a forum that "names" are unique to avoid this situation. (to be honest I had not noticed that you had a doppelganger till you mentioned it!)
But both Kens have the same number of posts, so the fake Ken has the same number of posts as the real one.

There is something weird in the first photo, if you do a google lens image search on it, the is some Sanskrit text inserted into the first dormer window on the left hand side ( light grey box, hover curser over, copy and paste into new google window). દી which apparently means day

Ken, I doubt that you account has been hacked, otherwise you would have to log back into your account after each fake post. Probably more to do with the quote function, and the ability to edit quotes and their coding.

You could try contacting Les Amis des Animaux https://lesamisdesanimaux.com/contact/
They are based in South West France, but rescue and rehome animals throughout France. They would try to find a foster family for your dogs, with a view to rehoming them. They have a website, but are also very active on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/313621008806233

Exif is the file attached to a photo that gives you info about the photo, such as location, date and time, etc. I have received this photos trough whatsapp and this made the exif to be lost in process.
Could you not ask the person who sent you the photo to check the exif on the original?

...Unless it is for sale or abandoned.
My problem is that I don’t really think it is a Châteaux…..in the traditional sense. It looks more like a large fancy house. A manoir or something like that.
I agree ALBF, it looks abandoned (plenty of broken windows) so probably for sale as well. And not a chateau either, a manoir or maison de maitre perhaps. Bearing in mind that immobiliers rarely put the exact location of properties they have for sale, they can be hard to track down, unless you visit with them.

Normally, facing the wall, as you would to wash your feet.

OK, that's all impressive but you can't honestly say you did all those things straight away ( can you? ). I was looking for the little thing that gave you a sense that "yes I can do this"
OK then, working out which way to sit on the bidet ?

It's of no use to anyone pretending there is some sort of parallel world where everything is 'tikkity boo'! If someone should be unfortunate enough to suffer the sort of dementia implied then the reality is they wouldn't know if they were in a care home or Shanghai prison. The relatives have the problem not the sufferer. I don't know how old you are either but obviously you are naive!
Kenny, Kenny, you make a lot of assumptions. But in order for you to insult me, I would first have to value your opinion.

Once again Kenny, I find myself asking, really? No, seriously, REALLY? Heaven forfend that you should ever grow old!

Oh I am so very sorry to hear this. She was a wise, witty and warm person, who could express more in four or five words than most of us could say in a paragraph. She was quite the character, I will miss her.

I have never been scamed, not to say I never will, but it is unlikely. People are scammed because they are far too casual with details they give out and not studying anything they receive properly and probably most of all they use credit and debit cards with gay abandon and rarely check statements etc. I have little or no sympathy for people who are scammed. It costs me money when banks or anyone else pays these idiots compensation for their neglect !!!! Yes keep on your toes!!!! A forlorn hope though with most people expecting compensation!!! Nothing to be done about dimwits I'm afraid!
Ok, I'll bite. "Idiots" "dimwits" really?
Like you, I very much doubt that I will ever been scammed, but I do have sympathy for those, perhaps much older and less computer savvy, who fall prey to scammers.

As I have said before Ken, it is odd indeed that the fake Ken has the same number of posts as you. Do you have anyone else in your household using your computer/laptop? Do you log in/out of the forum each time that you use it?
