carpingmikeHere for all the right reasons
My wife turns 60yrs old this march, and therefore qualifies for her English state pension. We have been living in France for the last 18 months, does she qualify for the above as I have heard differing opinions regarding whether she gets it or not? Blade
are you a french resident? not sure in that case that you would be able to get it. you have to have uk residency really. i do know of english people who keep a uk residency and therefore get it this way. hope that helps. Mikew
You need to start receiving your WFA whilst you are a UK resident, after one payment you may move. You cannot, regrettably, start once youhave moved to France.
Teamedup
Yes it is only paid to UK residents and apparently if you move to certain other EU countries after you have started receiving it you can continue to get it, but I have no idea as to why they allow this.
