My first aim is to buy land and move over with a large mobile caravan and my dogs for the winter. For this I have seen recreation land advertised and would like to know more about what this land can be used for and if it would be a viable purchase for my immediate needs? Would there be any specific applications or terms and conditions on the use of the land / what it can be used for etc. Ideally I would like to buy enough land to move my horses over as well (from the UK) but the move with the dogs would be first then allow me time to look for Agri land (8-10 acres) for the horses as I have not been able to find this amount of land yet. Lehaut Posted November 2, 2022 Share Posted November 2, 2022 If you are looking at "Terrain Loisir" as a translation of "Recreation Land" then it is also subject to controls over how you use it and how long you can stay on it. They look very tempting. We have often seen them advertised with a lake or near a river, for attractive prices. With the current rise in Tiny Houses in France, people have been looking for loop holes in the regulations.
