anotherbanana Posted November 1, 2022 Share Posted November 1, 2022 Last evening, a sudden chorus of Hello Grandpappy from the garden gate shook me away from other things; it was a lovely little group of tiny witches, hobgoblins, trolls begging for sweeties. Fortunately I had laid in supplies and duly put something in each bag. And each child said a proper unprompted thank you. So very sweet and one of the small pleasures of living and being known in a small village. menthe Posted November 2, 2022 Share Posted November 2, 2022 Bought a bag of individually wrapped chocolates but no visits this year. Mind you, it was raining heavily and the wind blowing lustily. Fortunately, I had the foresight to buy chocolates that I liked eating.
