Four people in different professions were advised by a Greek "accountant" based upon what their taxation/entitlements/benefits would be in Greece. It was quite an eye opener as to how Greece got itself in such a mess and how the EU economic system in effect gave them carte blanche to do it. cooperlola Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 The standout bits for me were the economist who said that the bloated bonuses were justified and necessary as these companies needed to pay them to attract the right people and the woman who said "we just want our economists to be able to do arithmetic." Priceless.A superb programme. We could do with more telly like this - complicated but very important subjects told in a concise, understandable and erudite fashion.
