ADSL english style?

today i had a fella from france telecom phone me in english to offer me adsl......... as i have been fighting for years to get an adsl line into my tiny hamlet to say i was gobsmacked was an understatement.....he said he would send details in english within a month.......has anyone heard of this service and have you used it.....or is it a hoax ? help someone please..............mojo

cant get it to take all my phone number so it wont workonly accepts 7 digets........any ideas welcome

You must be doing something wrong, Mojo - dslvalley takes 10 digits and always has done.  e.g.

I've just put in our 10 digit (fr) phone number and it worked fine - have another go - perhaps the line was busy.

You are not putting in any spaces are you - eg 02 95 45 .......? That wont work - there is no room for spaces ie should be 029545.

All right, 10 digits!  I think Spg has hit on it - if you put in the spaces than it will only include the first 7 of your number.
