Charity Book Sale

Recommended Posts

I don't think it has been advertised on the forun before. It is less than an hour from Perigeaux or Bergerac and about 1.5 hours drive form Bordeaux.  I went to the one this spring and apart from buying back three of the books I had donated had a great ferret. Found stuff I would have thought I would be lucky ot get in Hay on Wye.

I am so disappointed a few things came up this morning and I will not be able to go again [:(]. I just didn't have the time to drive north and then drive south to Bergerac this afternoon. Please inform the forum about the next one because I would really like to attend.

I went this morning. Wow - much much busier than I thought it would be. Books and people spilling out everywhere, I think they need to find a bigger hall for the next one! I dropped off a couple of bag fulls and came away with another.  They must have raised a huge amount of reddies from this (and past) events, all in a good cause.
