Tinnitus and Coenzyme Q10

Having recently having my chloresterol tablets changed to "Crestor" my long-suffering bouts of tinnitus are now almost constant.

In searching the web I found an article on the connection being down to the tablets causing a reduction in CoQ10 subsequently bringing about an increase in noise experienced.

It recommends taking a suppliment containing Coenzyme Q10 and I just wondered if any fellow suffers had gone down this route and if so, did it bring about any improvement.

Article:

btw: I'm aware that its an advert but when you're currently sitting in a tunnel with an express train running through it you tend to look for anything that will stop it.[:)]

Having had Tinnitus quite severely,24hrs a day  for 25 years, I'll try anything. Both UK and French Doc's/Specialists have said there is NO way of reducing noise levels. Did read about Russia/Austria using Decompression Chambers but not sure if it was tried on patients or inmates. My wife has suggested Hypnotism but I'm afraid what secrets I might give away while under the influence. Has anyone tried it?

Regards.

Another sufferer here, game to try anything within reason. Have had constant ringing noise for about 20 years; the train comes and goes but is well and truly sharing the tunnel with me as I type this.

There's a fair bit about Coenzyme Q10 on Wiki but doesn't seem to make any connection with tinnitis treatment.
