The local Ball trap etc days in the villages are a great day out - with the usual catering etc. Most of the shooters are local amateurs but you also get some "professionals". Prizes vary from cups, bottles of wine to a days boar hunting.Sometimes the ball trap is attached to a local fund raising day. You are made very welcome and even lent a shotgun, providing you know how to shoot of course! Have been to a number and they have all been most enjoyable. Go along and see.
