Strange that it was less windy than it has been for a while; perhaps the meteo warning was a bit over hyped.
buelligan
Jeepers! Can't remember the last time we had any real rain - well, I can actually, think we had a good storm in September, or was it August? I'm still having to water my veggie plot. Not that I'm complaining![:D]

But now the rainfall in danger of becoming too much. We do live in West Brittany though, noted for its trees etc. Where are you?
buelligan
I'm in the Languedoc (Corbieres). Last winter, IIRC, it was much colder, wetter etc. I've hardly need to light the poele this year and am still wearing tshirts rather than jumpers. Mr Coeur de Lion
It was wetter inside my house than outside yesterday due to me turning a tap off harder than anticipated. Once I had replaced the tap system and drenched every towel in the house clearing up the water, I decided to make myself a cup of coffee using my Senseo machine. Only that I forgot to close the lid and ended up flooding the kitchen area it was in.I had a bad day.
suein56
I had a bad day.
So windy and wet with you then? [Www]I'm not really sniping - I am truly sympathetic, having done very similar things myself.
I've hardly need to light the poele this year and am still wearing tshirts rather than jumpers.
We've not needed much heat either, but, as I feel the cold, I am wearing 3 thin layers in an effort to keep warm. Methinks I need to do the ironing or jump about a bit more. Mr Coeur de Lion
sweet, I'm having a bad fortnight I think.Got to snap out of this before it becomes a spiral. lol
mint
Is that "bad fortnight" in the English sense, which just means 14 days or in the French sense which is "quinze jours"?If the latter, you'd have one more day to go............Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh, you have my every sympathy! Mr Coeur de Lion
The right things are that I haven't broken anything or eaten any dog food by mistake.I am, however, still in bed to ensure the smoothness of the day!(that last bit isn't true)
