Not quite sure what you are trying to demonstrate here GS - except perhaps your skill at using a search engine, which I have never doubted.

I opened and read the first 4 links and then lost the will to go on. There was nothing there that I would disagree with or that I have said did not happen.

The fact remains however that the link you posted from an Australian news agency recorded 160 sexual attacks in the first 2 months of 2016 that were attributed to migrants. On that basis there might be around 1000 such migrant instigated attacks in a year (1000 too many).

Since the migrant population makes up 5% of Germany's population, if there was no difference between migrants and Germans in their tendency to make such attacks, we should expect 20,000 attacks in a year. Yet the actual number is over twice that. The inference then is that Germans are more likely to commit a sexual attack than migrants. Much has been made in the media of the New Year migrant assaults, but how many assaults occurred overall at New Year? In fairness to the media this might be because, as reported, it seems the migrant attacks may have been coordinated.

But demonising migrants and essentially labelling them all as sexual predators - which is the direction the press seem to be taking - would seem to be ill founded based on your links. Notwithstanding what happened a year ago in Cologne and other cities.

No wonder the last link is as it is - Unsere Faruen und Toechter bekommin Angst - our wives and daughters are becoming afraid. The media have stirred up a frenzy.

Has Merkel made a mistake in letting in so many immigrants? Time will tell but probably yes. I think I understand some of her non-humanitarian motivations but whether these are the right answer for Germany remains to be seen.

I could see a possibility of the CDU not being the majority party at the next elections and that would leave Germany rudderless. That could be a much bigger problem than Greek debt, Brexit, Italian referendum or even the French presidential election result.

Well, Andy, when the Bavarian Finance Minister makes a clear statement as below, surely, summat is up? We must be able to accept Welt, as a reasonable media source?

"After 12 months of migrant attacks which saw mass sex assaults in western city Cologne and the rape-murder of teenager Maria Ladenburger, Bavaria’s finance minister has warned the nation faces a homeland security crisis and is losing control of its streets.

Speaking as Germany approaches the anniversary of the migrant sex attacks which saw over 1,000 victims, hundreds of sex attack victims, and dozens of rapes, the foreign minister of Germany’s conservatively minded Bavarian region has called for the government to act with resolve to solve the immigrant problem.

Germany’s best-selling broadsheet Welt reports the comments of State Minister for Finance, Regional Development and Home Affairs Markus Söder Thursday when he said the security situation in the country was deteriorating and mass migration was to blame. Remarking “Our wives and daughters are increasingly afraid of sexual assaults”, Söder called for more police power and deportations for migrants.

Commenting on the security situation in Germany, the minister did not mince his words when he told the newspaper: “When citizens no longer feel safe to visit neighbourhoods, the state loses its authority… this is now about homeland security”.

Calling the social changes and crime caused by the migrant crisis an existential crisis for Germany, Mr. Söder said: “the state must act more decisively than in the past. Last year we lost control over our borders. Now we are beginning to lose control of streets and squares”. The Christian Social Union politician — a political party in close alliance with Angela Merkel’s sister party the Christian Democrats said Germany was developing a problem with migrant communities similar to that in France and Belgium."
