Lost in trnaslation ...

Mr. Nectarine told me that in yesterday's language class (where English and French work together to learn each other's language), his teacher turned to a French chap and asked him to translate, into English, "je suis malade". Her pronunciation must have been a bit suspect as the French trnaslated it as "I am a duck!".

Some work obviously needed on her accent ...

I thought all French people were hypochondriacs?[;-)]  It's often seemed that way to me, talking to friends, acquaintances and neighbours [:D]

If I'm allowed to sort of link 2 threads together, can I bring back the Carol Concert thread for a minute?  Norman, are you about?  And do you know that Charpentier wrote some of the music for LMI?
