Aide with translation please

I have to explain, in writing, the activities of our social group which plays bridge, quizzes, etc and the sentence I want to translate is:

to play games and activities that help the memory

I'm translating it as

pour jouer les jeux et activites qui aide la memoire

before I commit to print, does this sound right please, or is it "pour FAIRE les jeux"? Or is there a tidier sentence that anyone can supply? Thanks all

A couple of suggestions:

pour participer à des jeux et activités qui aident la mémoire = to participate in games and activities that help the memory

pour participer à des jeux et activités qui stimulent la mémoire = to participate in games and activities that

stimulate the memory

pour joindre des jeux et activités qui aident à stimuler la mémoire = to join in games and

activities that help boost the memory

Should it not be "participer AUX jeux et AUX activités "

and

"qui AIDENT'

And if it's des jeux, shouldn't it also be des activités?

Pour joindre des jeux doesn't sound right to me either.  Sounds as if you're joining des jeux together.   [8-)]

Yes, If the jeux and activités are defined rather than related to in a broad sense.

The lack of context prevents a more specific translation.

I don't know whether this will help, but you may be interested: there is an association in our village which does this regularly, and they refer to the weekly event as a  remue-méninges - something to keep the brain cells stirred up.
