Nicos
We are looking for 3 of these lights ( better still- one with three lamps) to hang over our dining table. Are these easy to find in France??I know they were used in Victorian Britain, but I don't want to pay loads for antiques either in the UK or France. If they could be attatched to a dimmer switch then even better!!Any ideas??[:)]
Pierre ZFP
Seen them in M.Bricolage and modern looking ones in Ikea.Whether or not they are dimmerble (is that a word?) will depend largely on what sort of light bulb you put in it.
WJT
Hi, there are several on French ebay but I don't see one at the moment with three lamps on one, but if you have the time it may be worthwhile keeping an eye on ebay.fr as well as ebay.co.uk. You never know when one will come up. [:)] I have ordered things like this on the UK site with no problems with delivery to France. Just ask if they will ship to France and what the delivery cost is before bidding.Unfortunately, the link was just to long for me to copy here but for the French ebay site (ebay.fr) just put in "monte et baisse" for rise and fall in French in the main search bar.If you want new, the below site has some lovely ones made in France, they are £169.00 a piece though.http://www.thefrenchhouse.net/prodrange/show/2119
