Now this gets weirder: I have gone to Claire's reply and pressed 'QUOTE' and then just pressed 'POST' so presumably Claire's reply - which had showed the photos - should have come up here with the photos. But, no, it has turned to script .... !!!

Google Chrome ... now there's a thought. I'll switch over to Internet Explorer and try from there. Will be back in a bit!

Well, just to finish off this saga, I did EXACTLY what I had been doing before but, this time, I was operating within Internet Explorer rather than Google Chrome.  So it must be something to do with the browser.  Thanks to all who replied.

 

Back to the original point, anyway, can anyone tell me where I can get a butane bottle that will fit into this connector?  many thanks
