I made some really good cookies using the kaki fruit and also a good kaki/date pudding. Both were really good. I did taste one ripe from the tree and didn't like it. 5-element Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Khaki trees around here are called "Arbre a sangliers" - apparently wild boar absolutely love the fruit, and there are khaki trees specifically planted by hunters to attract their prey.
