I'd like to get one of those, I haven't seen one before with that amount of pink to its leaves. Very nice.

Mrs P bought one a couple of years ago put it in the ground but whilst it is still alive it refuses to put on any serious growth, the ones in other gardens around here seem to be trimming them to keep them under control!! anyone any suggestions? a good feed maybe?? but which NPK?

Possibly lots of water. The photo was taken at a nearby 'pond' about 2 metres from the water and the plant had been cut down - old growth of diameter in excess of 10cm is beneath the new shoots.

Careful about cutting down, lots of these are grafted onto a stronger willow rootstock.
