connolls
Hello,Could anyone give me a little advice about pansies bought and potted up about a month ago, they are flowering beautifully but have started to get "leggy".We are dead heading by the day but wondered if we cut them back (to stop them getting too "leggy") will they have a "re-burst" of energy and re-flower or not flower again at all ? :-(Thanks for any info. Kind regards Mel.
Patf
I've seen the same thing happen to pansies here. We had some flowering right through from November.I think their day is over for the moment, there are none in the nurseries..They will come into their own again in the autumn - for the winter . cooperlola
I planted (well, had planted!) some last November too. I have not touched them at all (apart from watering) and they still look fab. They are definately my sort of plant. [:D]Maybe just leave them be?

Rob Roy
You can cut them back and they'll re-bloom. Information about them here: http://garden.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Pansy
