suein56
3 bedrooms, 2 of us plus up to 3 guests at a time; 200 litres ballon, but we do have an afternoon top-up on off-peak electricity, which makes a difference I feel.Sue
sid
We have 4 bedrooms but usually only a maximum of 5 or 6 people; our ballon is 200 litres but the hot water is heated by the oil boiler. (indirect coil). We leave the hot water system running through the summer but the heating is off. The boiler heats a full tank in about half an hour compared to several hours for immersion heater. We find this economical and convenient. For an electric only system I'd recommend a bigger tank, say 300 litres.Sid

BJSLIV
As electric water heaters are all relatively low powered, you should always err on the side of a larger tank. This is fairly typical of the manufacturers guides to choosing the correct size.http://www.chauffe-eau.fr/chauffe-eau/electrique/guide_elec_02.php
