been suffering from bronchitis/allergies to a great extent. I've been almost dead on my feet for over two months - and still have to shake the 'allergies'. It has been suggested that the problem is the type of trees.

Would very much like to hear from anyone else with similar problems. Have had two lots of antibiotic (bronchitis seems to have cleared up), and now am on two types of spray for the allergy. Have had tests in the USA and the only items to which I am allergic are cigarette smoke and some type of pollen (dunno what).

I hate to move but if this is a health problem, off to the coast we go. I'd love some input before we start to hunt.

My weeks visit to France was made less enjoyable by my allergy I know I am allergic to tree pollen so possibly this has been particularly high this year.
Have you talked to your doctor about preventative treatment,( having injections in the spring for instance) or tried a homoeopath?

My sympathies

We lived in a heavily-wooded situation in Morbihan for ten years and we had frequent problems with bronchitis. Since moving to a small town a few miles away we have had no problems. We attributed it to pollen and also to the breakdown of vegitation in the forest.

My husband used to have sneezing fits every day (when we lived in England and here in France) until our doctor in France suggested he went to see an allergy specialist. He had allergy tests to determine what he was actually allergic to (turned out to be dust mites) and now he is following a programme of "desensibilisation". This involves injections at regular intervals over 2 years starting with once a week for a couple of months, then more spread out.

It is wonderful to see him without streaming eyes and a runny nose and no sneezing fits!

Might be worth a try?

Bon courage
