3.
Hi Julia, Did you have any responses? Are the kittens re-homed or just absorbed into your menagerie, now?
Hello Loopy; On the 'Pets' section I did post that the kittens now have a lovely home with a smashing lady and her husband -on a farm in Normandy. The couple have two horses, chickens, geese, barns, two other cats and the kittens are having the time of their lives!I'm so pleased that the response from two wonderful people has afforded the kittens a future. (Bless you Mary and Sue and Pete). We really enjoyed visiting with the kitten's new owners and hope someday to meet up with them and the kittens again. Just hope no more come over the fence! Though I must confess to missing the little sweeties very much and our cats miss them too. Still looking for them. Julia
4. Heck; I'll deliver without reservations! Julia looking for that one in a million home for the kittens
5. As the newly arrived in France family who were going to give the kittens (dumped in our garden) a home have let me down, I'm really trying to find a good home for two sweet little kittens. We have four inside cats, one stray we've just had neutered, and can't have more. Can anyone please give the kittens a loving home - they are beautiful little things, tabby, one silver (the female) and the little male is darker. Very delightful, deflead and de wormed. We'll deliver within reason (a couple of hours around Redon). Don't want to take them to the SPA as the chance they will be put down is great. Also have an ad with our veterinarian, and son's friend is asking his schoolmates if they can help. Julia near Redon
6. Has anyone any information about the Quimper Festival usually held in August? Thank you, Julia
7. 'Can anyone tell me where Emmaus is in St Brieuc?' Emmaus is difficult to find in St. Brieuc, we went with Kris and Eric who know the way! Best I can suggest is to go online and download the appropriate map - then use your road map in conjuction with that. I think the Emmaus site gives maps and locations for all the places in France. Emmaus is down in the valley from what I remember. There is an Emmaus in Rennes - Hede, might be easier to find. Julia with not a great deal of help!
8. LAST EDITED ON 21-Apr-04 AT 08:29 AM (BST) We too have a Honda! The price for headlights for ours is 989 euros - just to change the things! Parts manager of the dealer in Rennes almost fell of his chair when he brought up the price. The car inspection will not accept the 'strips'. They will pass the inspection which will 'get' you French insurance - that is, our French insurance accepted the inspection and for the moment we have French insurance and a year of MOT. We also have an English inspection. Some sanctimonious individuals will tell you to do it the French way, the majority will keep quiet about what they are doing. A very long shot is to find a wrecking yard and hope they have headlights - I think there may be a system througout France for locating parts this way. Bit of a dillemma, I suppose if you can afford it, change the lights. J

10. Don't know of one in Dinan, but do know they are around - there is one in Redon that a friend attended when visiting from the US. Try the Pages Jaunes.
11. Coco; We are south - near Redon, but if you find a group collecting (not led by some dodgy person) for flowers for all the graves, count on me for a donation. Julia
