Here in the deep south we have Opticiens Lunetiers sans Frontiers, run by an Optician and Rotarian from Perpignan. By complete chance, my Rotary Club is hosting a conference by them next week, and is about to put in place a collection box scheme ... they can take all types of glasses incl varifocal, and also will take cases (which they do not want in the UK).If you want to know more... pm me.
