Certainly, it doesn't make me cheer, just more resigned and defeated.This, I am afraid, has been the sorry tale of lots of French inventions (engineering, medical) over decades. Invent or find something wonderful and then have to hand it over to others to popularise and, often, commercialise.You'd think that in a health crisis, they'd have more than one string to their bow?
