AOL not delivering

Hi is anyone having the same problems as me I dont receive all emails sent to me and some of the ones I send dont get delivered, if this is common is AOL doing anything about it, I mailed them but as yet haven't had a reply, maybe that one didn't get delivired either

I have a friend who has a @aol.com address and i have been unable to email him via smtp.tiscali.fr for about 8 weeks. It may be related.
Though it seems fine via another smtp that i also use.

It's been said before (even by the IT sage Mazan, if my memory serves me well) - avoid AOL at all costs: they are intrusive, unilateral in a lot of their thinking and generally a pain in the behind.
I won't have them on any of my systems!
(Great for kids though- plenty of mickey mouse banality !)

Yes, I have the same problem with family members with a btinternet.com email address. I can neither send nor receive messages from them via AOL.
I have also written to AOL. It will be interesting to see if either of us get a satisfactory reply.

Hi

I use AOL for the connection. Only the connection !

I then use IE, and various email services.

And the only AOL emails I receive are spam.

I have been delighted with AOL - used it here in France and also for years in Germany. I do find if people's hotmail accounts are full they let me know they cannot deliver - but otherwise no problems at all.
