Ah! He does the paying, does he? 'Cos any French plasma TV will work with any TV standard & a Sky box will plug straight into the PERITEL socket.

BTW, what bargains are Carrefour doing (nearest shop is quite a hike from here)?

A word of warning on plasma screens. I hear through the grapevine from TV land that those little logo's they are now in the habit of putting in the corner of the screen, can start to damage the pixels within as short a time as half an hour. If this is true, then the big red banner that Sky news have on the bottom of the screem, will do the same! If I were you, I'd have a chat to somebody who's got one to find out if this is true before buying.

I bought a day trip return to the UK and bought my Panasonic plasma from a great supplier in Tunbridge Wells - worked out as a 700+ saving even with the crossing!

Even the wife thinks it is worth the money and that is saying something!
