Jonzjob Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Can anyone tell me what is the best U.K. simm card to get for a short, 14 daze, stay in the U.K. We only want a 'pay as you go' jobbie.I have had a look at the web for some info, but to my poor old brain cell? Free this, free that when all I want to do is to put a simmm (not sure how many mmm's) in one of our French Orange PAYG phones and contact my son for less than an arm and a leg? We don't want to miss his wedding!!!Just a simple straight forward PAYG will do. Also as we are going in through Dover does anyone know if it's possible to get such a card at the port? Frederick Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 I know its a bit short notice for you now but maybe for later ...if you go to the Orange UK site and click on the box they will send you a free sim card for pay as you go.......I used the same offer last year for family who visited from Australia by getting two cards and putting them in old phones for them ..... ChezShells Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 I was in the UK a few weeks ago, got a sim card from Tescos, think there are 3 choices, got the dearest (PAYG plus, or something like that) due to it working abroad, only about £2.80.
