Nero Photosnap

 When this computor came back from having a new hard drive installed I found that Nero Photosnap had been installed, that's fine however it seems to be missing the 'Save' or 'Save as' function, has any one else had this problem and if so is there a way to include it?

Looking at the manual, see link:

http://ftp6.nero.com/user_guides/nero9/photosnap/NeroPhotoSnap_Eng.pdf Photosnap comes as one of one of the components of Nero 9. There is a Save icon shown in the screenshot but I get the impression that you can't save a photo unless you have used one of the tools.

Hi Russethouse,

Removing the save and save as features used to be done on trialware, 30 days usage but no save features unless you pay for the registration.

Did you want  free photo re-touching software?

As an aside, talking about photographic software for basic retouching, I have downloaded Windows Live Photo Gallery, which seems to have better photo manipulating facilities than Picasa.

I particularly like the panoramic photo option.

If you do download it, remember to check the dialogue boxes and untick the unnecessary extras...

Tel, I think you are right, what is happening at present is that I am looking at archived pics and Nero Photosnap opens them OK, all I want to do is move some of them to more current files, without having to drag and drop them if possible.

I have Irfanview for editing pics, but it would be a rather tortuous route to get to them....
