Martin963
The FBS version is free to air on both Astra 1 (19 deg E) and Hotbird (13 deg E).I have a feeling it used to be on the Sky EPG but disappeared a while back when Sky rowed with many of the foreign programme providers (eg TVEi) by demanding extortionate rates from them (so nothing new there then). This link from TV5 seems to confirm some sort of problem....http://www.tv5.org/TV5Site/reception/www.sky.com
Tim
You don't say what satellite your dish is pointing at, but I assume it's Astra/Eutelsat and 28.2/5 east for the UK channels. There is a FTA (free to air) version on Astra 19 east. Your current set up will not receive that. Simplest solution would be to install a second dish and a second digital receiver.I don't know whether that's good or bad news for you. Anton Redman II
If your optex box has a second co axial socket in you should not need a second receiver but will need a second dish
Tim
Hi AntonI used to have an old Optex box and I seem to remember that there was only one LNB input (and one output), but of course, the op may have a different model. But you're quite correct, of course. If it does have two, then no need to fork out.Regards - Tim
