The right size of dog bed

When we first got dogs, I remember desperately reading up on various things, including how to measure the length of your dog's back and legs to work out the right size basket (not much use when you are heading for the refuge with no idea what will be coming home, but never mind)

Now, much older and slightly wiser, I realise that the most important thing is to get the size of bed that your dog PREFERS - beautifully demonstrated by the usual sleeping arrangements in our hall.........

Recently found a cat/kitten bed that our cat catagorically refused to use in France. He now, as a much bigger cat squashes himself into the thing. Where ever they are happy as I like living with a happy pet.
