Exterior floor paint

I painted a section of the floor in our remise/ garage some 15 years ago with a fairly expensive paint specifically for concrete floors from Mr Bricolage.

I gave up after about 20 square metres as the paint (= money) was absorbed at an alarming rate, and a builder friend told me I should have used a primer/sealer first.

I was intending to try again using a cheapish acrylic sealer for outside walls, diluted with water, which I buy in Spain. Too late now, as it is covered with cars and workshop units etc.

It has, however, lasted very well, slightly chipped where tools, jacks, etc. have been dropped on it, but it is actually the surface of the concrete that is chipped.

[quote user="f1steveuk"]Anyone had any experience with/purchased/ can recommend an exterior floor paint, possibly Latex based. It's a short term fix until we tile.

If your going to tile later, I wouldn't paint now.  The only good exterior paints are the commercial brands, and very expensive. Why waste money?
