1. Hi Mine was removed too!!  I was only saying that the information in the post was 'duff', interestingly this was the first post by this person whose ID also included the word duff! Panda
2. Hi Thel In TA I put in the total of CIPAV, RSI  and URSSAF contributions that are not marked non deductable, if you look at your URSSAF bills certain elements of CSG etc are marked not deductable.  Iam BNC too. What about the mutuelle though, where does that go??  I'm goingt o ring my mutuelle and ask them as they had me complete a form which states I can deduct it form somewhere! Panda
3. Can anyone advise on this point about where to put premiums paid to a mutuelle?
4.
thanks for the reply, but that's as far as I got too! I understand the words, I just don't understand what they want or where to find the figures they want, and when they ask for what I've paid and/or what I received in the same box which one is put down as a negative?
Hi I'm now confused, where does it state that you write down anything paid to you??  I see it that it's asking you to put in premiums paid to assurance etc. and I was expecitng to include somewhere my premiums to my mutuelle as I have been advised this can be deducted by the agent of the mutuelle that I use .
OK, but a 'prime' is something they give you, and a cotisation is something you pay them. Which is the negative one??? Does this include the top-up health insurance - what I pay out and the reinboursements for treatment?
Huh?? A prime just means premium doesn't it??  Not something they pay you? You would not put down any reimbursements from mutuelles that doesn't make any sense?

Goats
In the case of my goat, the only smelly things are my dogs having discovered the delights of rolling in goat doo.   They are not averse to rolling in goose plop either.  YUK
Yes mine too, and ducks and chicken poo as well. why do they do that?
6. The housing market is as dead in France if not more so that the UK so don't worry about losing the house here and even if you do there are loads more out there, why put yourself through unnecessary stress? EDIT: It is also generally felt the market here is falling and so you might end up buying now and having a house worth less when your UK house finally sells.
7. No, not at all, I like it, especially in men but that's a whole other topic! I know I sound like a farmer from gloucestershire when I speak any language so I'm not one to mock.  Wardrobe was something my old french teacher couldn't say and it annoyed the hell out of her.  We would bring it up whenever she mocked our pronunciation!  I'm going to go and get my son to say throughout, that will tie his little tongue in knots!
8.
Need explanations as well, but Happy St Georges day to all the nice English people on here ... !! [kiss]
Is that H pink because of the way you say Apppyy, Frenchie?   I'm just trying to get my son to say Frothy correctly, go on give it a go!  He has been in France since he was 3 and struggles with the 'th' sound, I drum it into him on a daily basis but Frothy he can not say.  My other favorite word to get a french perosn to say is wardrobe, it's a toughy don't know why!
9. Hello I've got a paper version even though I do filll my online.  Only came last week so there is still time for yours. Panda
10. all a bit odd, some say NA some not.  You can reply though so it does know who they are for.
11. Don't know, I could sing it to you though!  Not black eyed peas I donlt think.
12. I can't stop that dreary song 'where is the love' going around in my head now so please everyone stop saying 'where is the love'
13. All very well but when are you going to get the message!!!
14. Anyone know why some of my PM's say recipient NA, instead of the persons id, what's that about?
15. But where and why is the love in this thread?
16.
Eek, nightmare, don't you just hate neighbours ! Re the field and swimming pool, why object, surely its good for the field ?  But, I guess the real reason is that its done without agreement and I also guess this is another one of the those holiday homes ?  As I've said before, if you don't live in the house full time, you are in a very weak position to start complaining.  One thing's for sure, you need to talk with your neighbour and not folks on the Forum !
Not sure how a swimming pool full of chlorinated or salted water could ever be deemed good for the field, isn't it illegal any way to empty a pool without it passing through some  kind of filtering system?

Goats

Hello Well I have a female who has been on heat without so much as a raised baaaaa (probably because she lives permanently with her mate so has no need to call for one), a male that lives happily in about 3 acres and does not smell at all and eats the grass!  So am I lucky??  They do try and get to other grazing, I'm about to give them another few acres to graze in as they do seem to like a change of scenery, but smelly and noisy mine most definitely are not, (if they were I wouldn't love them now would I?)! Goats

Hello I have a goats (3) and I would say get at least two as they are prone to trying to escape and being lonely would make them worse.  Mine are not noisy unless they see me in the garden and want to be fed, even then it's just a very gentle baaaaaa, nothing to worry about at all.  The kids do scream and I mean scream, just like a baby if they feel in danger.  Is the kid you've been offered a boy or girl, if it's a boy he will definitely try to escape to get to a female if he has not been castrated.   Having said all of that they are sweet little creatures and I love mine despite having to make my land goat proof which has cost a fair amount!  Panda
19. Hi Anna I intend to come along and can bring some things for the tombola, how are you going about collecting things, can I bring them on the day?  EDIT: Sorry just re-read your OP and you've said I can bring them on the day, so what time will you be setting up? Panda
20. Hi When I first left the UK I was completely up front with the DWP and said I will continue to work for  a UK company from home in France, they then sent me an E106.  With hind sight it would seem that they made an error and should not have done this.  Once you are registered as self employed here it makes no difference anyway.  My E106 was also for something like 7 years, no one could ever tell me why they did that either! I think I got a someone who wanted to go home early or something, he just issued the E106 regardless of my eligibility and added a few years too! To your other question, my accountant probably cost about 5% of my gross income although now that I've done the return for a few years last year I did it myself.  Panda
21. Thanks Sweet17, but she's a she!  She too was the first pet I got after buying my first house, I was 21 so she has been with me through a great deal.  She is mewing away right now to be fed!  She hardly leaves the house these days though and I know I won't have her for years to come but after last weeks close call I think I will be ready to say goodbye when the day comes, she's had a great long life.
22. Mine ignores me too when I've been away, I'm convinced she knows what a suitcase is and she gets really ratty a soon as you get one out.  She had a close call this week, she was vommiting blood and also passing blood in the urine, I thought that I would not leave the vets with her but after one injection she is back to her old self, and I mean old, 21 this year!!!  The vet was really sweet and said whilst we won't do anything to stress her out lets try one large shot of anti-biotics as although all symptoms looked like kidney's starting to fail it could equally be an infection, fingers crossed I'm hoping that she is through this issue, I guess at 21 every day is a bonus!
23.
Paula, Will is as wise as ever, but the E101 may not be a goer so you need a plan B. Have you spoken to anybody at your employer about your dreams/plans? Something that many permanent employees are unaware of is how much it costs a company to employ them, over and above their salary. For example, they must pay 11%  employer's National Insurance contribution, so if you go freelance they save that straight away. Many firms allow 50% on top of salary for such costs so paying you 40% more could represent a saving. [:D]
I'm with Albert on this as I am very aware that I am cheap to my employer, they have a huge benefits package so they save massively having me as freelance as opposed to my previously great package.  I also do the same work in half the hours these days, not sure how that happened (could be the dreadful weather keeoing me at my keyboard for hours), something to be aware of.  I still get paid a lot more than any job I have ever seen worth applying for over here so everyone wins really! 24. It's interesting when you think about these things logically, why are we so scared of something that CAN NOT HURT US!  I have shared a tight spot with a snake here and whilst my heart jumped I know that if I encountered a spider as close as the 2 metre snake which I almost inadvertently picked up in my chicken house I would have screamed the place down yet the snake could have bitten me and it would have hurt, what is that about??
25. Hello I'm in IT too and registed as a profession liberale as a general consultant, my accountant basically went for as many different aspects of this as possible to cover all eventualities.  When I was on PAYE I had an E106 so no problem there with health, as you are working now you could apply for one of these or do as Will says and go for an E101 if you can get one, either one will allow you to register whilst you sort out your business.  I earn about the same as I would in the UK and pay about 25% of my gross income in charges and tax, I have no acutal overheads to speak of but if you did then this would bring this figure down of course. Sadly I'm in the Charente, you should advertise for friends (how sad does that sound but you know what I mean) on the other more 'adverty' forums, AngloInfo etc.  there will be others in your area in the same boat.  Good luck with it!
