I got the best present of all. My young daughter was due to have a major heart operation over the Christmas period and spend the day in hospital. Hi My daughter(12) has to write an essay on what happens in France at Christmas.  Could you help? Are there any traditions? I know they have a family meal on Christmas eve. Is that when they open their presents. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi I just want to say that the Royal British Legion helps all members and ex members of the Armed Forces. They also help their dependants.  I have had help from the Legion and always help with the Poppy collection each year.  I am under sixty! I will always remember the fallen, I lost a good friend in Northern Ireland.

Hi Im having a kind of sad day so lets brighten things up by asking what is your dream?  I would love good health for my daughter.  However in a funny way would she be the same person she is today without her heart condition.  My dream is to have a small country cottage in France somewhere close to a bakery and a cafe.  I would love to be able to speak french without having to think long and hard!!

Hi  My daughter has a heart and lung condition.  She would love to go ski ing but she suffers badly with the cold weather in UK.  Is there any ski resorts in France which are warmer (I did say it was a daft question) than others.  Any ideas on how I can help her with her dream?

Hi just want to ask the question will Southampton take up the ferries?  There used to be ferries from Southampton to France but Im too young!! to remember this.  Does anyone know if this would be possible again?
